Bronson Day takes stroll ‘Down Memory Lane’

BRONSON — The 47th annual Bronson Day celebration will take participants “Down Memory Lane” Saturday, with a day filled with activities.

The fun begins bright and early with art exhibits and a quilt show opening at 9 a.m. at the Community Center.

Downtown Bronson will be accentuated with myriad games and activities, including kids train rides, a bounce house, dunk tank, obstacle course, basketball hoop shoot and limbo station. Games include a chicken drop contest, egg toss and hay scratch. A baby contest for any tot 18 months or younger is planned for 11:30 a.m. A cake walk runs from 12:15 to 1 p.m.

Horseshoe pitch tournaments are on the agenda as well.

The 11 a.m. parade will feature grand marshals Chub and Helen Bolling.

The Ridge Runnerzz Band will serve up a medley of golden oldies from noon to 3 p.m.

The activities wrap up with a free merchants drawing at 3 o’clock.
